What is mobile physical therapy?

Mobile physical therapy is an outpatient physical therapy service delivered in the convenience of your home. 

Does insurance cover this?

Yes! We currently accept Medicare and Blue Shield as our primary insurance providers, but can bill as an out-of-network provider for other insurances.

What can I expect from each session?

Coastal mobile physical therapy will provide 1-on-1 treatment sessions, beginning with an evaluation which will dictate a plan of care that will be personalized and discussed with you. 

How long are each sessions?

Sessions usually last between 45 minutes – 1 hour and can be flexible around your schedule.

Do I need anything at my home?

We bring everything to you. Mobile physical therapy from us is great since you get top-tier treatment in the comfort of your own home.

What are the physical therapist's credentials?

Bradley Morrison is a Doctor of Physical Therapy licensed in California.

Do you send information to my doctor?

Yes, we will directly send information to your referring practitioner or primary care physician and be in contact with them regarding your physical therapy care.

Do I need a referral to begin physical therapy?

No. California is a direct access state for physical therapy which means we can begin physical therapy without a referral, but a MD, DO, PA will be needed to sign off on a plan of care for physical therapy. 

Is mobile therapy considered home health physical therapy?

No. Home health physical therapy is primarily for post-surgical care once discharged from a hospital or surgical center or for home bound individuals. Mobile physical therapy can be for everyone as long as medically necessary.

Where will Coastal Mobile Physical Therapy travel to?

We deliver service throughout the central coast of California in San Luis Obispo county and northern Santa Barbara county.
